Are testing and profiling the same?
Testing and profiling are entirely different things. The testing system(i.e. Myers & Briggs test) cannot be applied in certain circumstances, such as hostage situations or high-level political meetings. It would be naive and unwise to believe that in such cases, using a test can determine the personality type and anticipate their subsequent actions. There won't be a test. The situation does not allow for it. In such cases, profiling is most effective. It can work in any place and situation, under any external conditions. Also, tests cannot be used every day in personal or work environments. Profiling skills can be used every minute, 365 days a year without being visible and known to others.

How can profiling help me and my business?
Having profiling skills will, firstly, help you better understand yourself, your motives, and why certain things are challenging for you, eliciting a negative reaction. You can change that.
In terms of business, there is no real analogue to profiling because, by learning profiling skills, you will use them every day – from selecting candidates and building teams to negotiating with clients and assigning daily tasks to your employees. Why will you use it? Because a completely new world of people's characteristics will unfold before you. You will understand why people act the way they do, why they perform poorly or well in certain situations. You won't have these questions. You will start asking yourself: How should I act because I know what they will do? You can build processes more effectively in your company and derive more satisfaction from your work.

Can I use profiling in my personal life and not just at work?
Yes, you can certainly use profiling in your personal life. Since it involves the process of gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information about a person or group of people, you'll easily be able to assess the qualities of your new acquaintances, notice even subtle changes in your partner's behavior, and determine their causes. You'll also be able to anticipate the good and bad actions of your friends, know what stresses them out, and in what situations they'll be extremely satisfied or dissatisfied. You'll recognize the hidden intentions of those close to you and anticipate conflicts and their dissatisfaction.
Profiling will also assist you in your personal development. You'll get to know yourself better, improve the quality of your actions, and manage your relationships more effectively.
